Group Exercise

Our group exercise classes are about more than just physical fitness. By working out as a team, our classes also foster mental wellbeing and a sense of belonging. Which is what David Lloyd Clubs are all about.

Our varied timetable of group exercise classes includes the classics: Body Pump, Aqua Aerobics, Yoga and Dance Fitness. However, we also offer several Signature Fitness Classes, which have been designed exclusively for David Lloyd Clubs.

Our Signature Fitness Classes come with bespoke CIMSPA accredited training and continued coaching education modules, which will keep your teaching skills at the cutting-edge of health, fitness and wellness. And they’re continually being developed including experience events to grow our Group Exercise Community. If you want to grow as an instructor, you also have the opportunity to apply to be a Group Exercise Supervisor, BLAZE Supervisor and or one of our Signature Class Master Trainers.

Personal Training

Personal training isn’t just about helping Members lift more weights. It’s about helping take a weight off – by making sure they feel comfortable and confident as soon as they walk through the doors. And you won’t be the only one pushing people. You’ll be pushed too. With development and education programmes to make sure the products you’re offering are top-of-the-range and the knowledge you’re sharing is best-in-class.

We want everyone to make the absolute most of what they have to offer. Which is why our Personal Trainers have the opportunity to become Group Fitness Instructors and vice versa. That way you have the opportunity to learn new skills, grow your client base and bring your passion for fitness to as many people as possible. So, if you like to work closely with clients, we have a wide range of opportunities for you.

There’s no one-size-fits all approach at David Lloyd Clubs. So, whether you’re leading a group fitness class or working one-on-one as a personal trainer, you’ll need to adapt to help each Club Member meet their personal goals. Above all, it’s about ensuring they have a great time. Because the more they enjoy their workout, whether that’s in the gym or in a class, the more likely they are to stick at it.
